Vacuum Elevators and Vacuum Lowerator Units
In some canning plants, where space is at a premium, it is not always possible to depalletise and fill on the same floor. Often in these cases it is necessary to transport the cans to different levels by the use of a vacuum elevator or lowerator unit, the choice of which depends on the relative machine positions. The use of vacuum elevators/lowerators provides savings in floor space and allows flexibility in the factory layout, thus making the most efficient use of the space available.

Air Powered Lowerators
In some situations when the air conveyors are required to run at different heights, the difference in heights can be overcome by using an air-powered lowerator. These can be installed at an angle as steep as 85 degrees. This unit takes up very little space giving greater flexibility for the line layout.
