Empty Cartons

Conveying empty cartons and trays is one of the most natural applications for the Ling Air System because of their lightweight, regular shape and flat base. Low propulsion forces allow very large queues of cartons to form with no scuffing or distortion. The very fast conveying speeds also allow a number of filling machines to be connected to one carton erector.

In a typical application, one carton erector - making tea boxes at 60 cartons per minute - feeds 11 carton filling machines by forming a queue and selecting short batches of 7 cartons from this queue and dispatching these through a series of 10 gates to the filling machine.
