Vacuum Transfer Unit

The purpose of the vacuum transfer unit (VTU) is to remove cans that have fallen over during depalletising as they could jam in the system, especially in the air single filer and rinsing sections. The vacuum transfer unit can be supplied with automatic can height and atmospheric adjustment controlled and operated from the main control panel or a remotely located operator push-button unit. The main features of this unit are the removal of fallen cans from the system alleviating the chance of fallen cans jamming up the system, ease of setting up for different can sizes and the smooth pick-up and put-down of the cans onto and off the unit.
